Recording Instructions
Equipment: you need one device for listening to a click track through headphones (the click track should not be audible in your final recording) and one for recording your video. Record your video in portrait orientation.
Dress and background: Please wear all black. The background of your video does not matter as long as it is nothing inappropriate.
Recording: Record your video in portrait orientation. Make sure to leave a few seconds of silence before you and start and after you end. This will make things easier for Patrick to edit.
Editing: DON’T. Don't do any. Leave in all the lead up. Patrick will edit out all that stuff, but having the extra time helps him line video up.
Uploading: Information for uploading your recording will be emailed out from the band email. Please name your file LastNameInstrumentPart Example: MurphyClarinet3.
Due date for the Holst: The recording is due May 25th. If you are not able to meet this deadline please let us know so Patrick knows when to expect it.
